Casa Dolce Vita is located in one of the finest…
THE MAIN HOUSE
400m² on two levels, designed and constructed in 2011 by a professional French builder. The structure is very strong made from reinforced concrete and the stiff architectural regulations of the country have been respected.
Extensive openings allow the light to pour in; high ceilings, beautiful beams and excellent insulation create a cool living environment with a sea view.
4 big bedrooms with 3 spacious tiled bathrooms, surfaces and wash basins made from natural stone.
A large functional kitchen with solid wood furniture and granite work surfaces opens on to the dining area. A chimney acts as a cooker hood and adds to the style of the kitchen.
The living quarters are airy thanks to the high ceiling with exposed exotic wood beams. Opening onto the extensive covered terrace this immense room consists of: kitchen, dining room, living room and office. From the dining area and terrace one has a view of the sea and of the jungle. One never gets tired of admiring the monkeys, the parrots, and the toucans etc. that use the trees opposite the terrace as a landing site. It’s strange! Could they be watching us?
The interior of the house is decorated with painted waxed walls; all doors and wood work are made from exotic solid wood creating a friendly environment.
The ground floor consists of a garage, workshop, and laundry room, big bedroom with en suite bathroom, a porch and a covered terrace.
Drinking water is plentiful and supplied by a bore hole; it is then filtered and sterilized. Two groups of solar panels heat the water needing no electricity.
The electric cables supplying the houses with electricity are all underground therefore no visible poles. Besides this, the owner also invested in 22 solar panels which reduces the electricity bills to almost nothing.
80m² It is totally independent, perfect for renting or for receiving friends.
Consists of: 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and W.C. office, American bar (solid wood furniture and granite work surface) a living room overlooking a big covered terrace with an excellent view of the jungle.
This recent house dates from 2009 and was constructed following the same rules as the main house.
Situated in the south of Costa Rica on the Pacific Ocean, opposite the Pensula de Osa in the Golfe Duce.
The main villages and towns are Pavones the surfer’s paradise, Zancoudo for sport fishing, Golfito with a national airport and Paso Canoas border town with Panama.
Ten minutes walk to the beach, 2 ½ hectares of land situated in a dominant position overlooking the sea. The property is surrounded by jungle with a stream flowing alongside and multiple cascades.
At the highest point we have built 2 houses with an enclosed garden bearing many flowers, trees and tropical fruit trees. (bananas, mangos, avocados, oranges, lemons, limes, custard apples etc.)
A dream comes true; the property is located near immense, tranquil, sandy beaches lined with coconut trees. Harmony with a magnificent variety of tropical wildlife is part of everyday life.
You can see different species of monkeys, sloths, iguanas, tapirs, and many more. Birds of all sizes and colours live happily around us. (Toucans, parrots, red macaws, humming birds, parakeets to mention but a few)
Luxurious, colourful vegetation of which one never tires, has a multitude of beautiful wild flowers, plants and tropical trees, all flowering at different times of the year. It’s certainly a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.
The sea offers not only surfing and bathing but a really great variety of fish including sea bass, tuna, swordfish, sea bream etc. Dolphins and whales can be seen swimming freely in their own environment. Crayfish, lobster and giant prawns (known as jumbos here) are readily available and makes a delicious meal to say the least.
There is something for everyone, between sport fishing, scuba diving, deep sea diving, or a simple boat trip to admire the dolphins playing in the waves, the giant turtles and the sword fish that chase after the shoals of sardine. A very moving moment is to see the whales close by as they bring their offspring into the Golfe Dulce.
