Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a perfect destination for anyone that loves nature. Unline the pacific coast, the caribbean has had a much slower development pace meaning that the nature there is very rich. Don’t get us wrong, the infrastructures are there (roads, doctors, schools,…) but you won’t find those huge cement blocks that you may find in Jaco for example.
